I did it

I woke up eager to do my Monday morning jog. Let me tell you that God had a surprise ready for me.

Everyone knows that my jogging has been minimal. I’m new to this and I’m working my way into better.

This morning God put it on my heart to have no more excuses. God challenged me to combine both driveways.

Not only did God challenge me but God gave me the courage, endurance and most of all faith to get the assignment done.

Sure enough I went out and combined both driveways extending my jogging time. I paced myself and I did not stop.

Faith and perseverance pays off a major non scale victory and a major accomplishment.

Game Changer

Today my sons team had their first game of the season. I was eager for a couple of reasons.

My son was overjoyed to play, and it was picture day. Secondly I’ve had something on my heart and I’m ready for it.

As you know God placed it on my heart to start jogging. Not that it’s easy, but it wouldn’t be a journey if it were.

A part of this journey is the struggle, yet one thing is certain. With God on my side I can do all things.

When I was trapped in darkness I feared a lot. That fear didn’t allow me to do anything I was stagnant.

I’m happy that I am a child belonging to God. I fight hard on this journey and there are days when I have my days.

God reminds me that his word is triumph and true. No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

I absolutely cannot wait to show you all what is on my heart. I thank each and every one of you. You all are a part of my journey.

This much is true that this is a Game Changer.

Had To Think Quick

Yesterday was a day full of things to do. A full day of homeschooling with my son. My mom wanted me to take her to run errands, and to top it off my son (my shadow) had soccer practice at night.

I am enjoying this entire process and truly embracing my journey. Along the way it’s allowed me to become more active and engaged with my son (I love the heck out of this kid).

Through it all I’m learning to be light and quick on my feet. Yesterday was no exception I had a few ingredients and little time to make something happen.

To top it off I had to make sure that my son would love anything I put together. So what exactly did I make check it out.

The name of the band is “Not My Own”

Im not home and I’ve grown accustomed to my routine of working out. The fact that I’m out of my element could stop me.
